I was thinking distances for some reason (1 Km=.6 Mi). And to rebut your number theory, I don't have to remember all of those annoying prefixes. What <i>is</i> the difference between Deci- and Deca- anyway?<p>If you say I have to remember mile, pound, inch, ect., you have to remember liter, gram, meter, ect, so that is not a valid argument.<p>Plus there is a nice weight to volume conversion for liquid: 1 pt. = 1 lb.
