Yeah yeah, double-post. =p But I believe a HUGE thank-you is in order for Kyence. ^^ Without her dedication to this, this translation of PSG1 wouldn't have been possible.

And I'm sure that others were involved, too, but I haven't seen anyone else credited so far. ^^;
I've finished the game, and the translation was fantastic. Nothing felt off or anything, and I don't know a lick of Japanese, but I'd say this felt true to the original.

Any complaints I have aren't even with the game itself, just the maps provided on PSCave, as much of the information is mismarked or simply missing simple things such as stairs.
And the game is too easy; it's easy to abuse the Collabo system to make boss fights a joke (I only bothered towards the end, as I mostly smacked things with my weapons for the most part =P). Still, it was an enjoyable remake, and I liked it more than I originally thought I would. ^^
The one thing I will make note of is that the graphics in the game were off. There's lines all over many of the maps, such as shops, overworld, etc., but it's not really noticable in dungeons or fights unless you look at the enemy sprites and spot some horizontal lines going across the tops of the sprites. This is purely a cosmetic issue, but it doesn't really detract from the playing experience -too- much, I think, unless that sort of thing bothers you. In my case, I got used to it. =p
I'm not sure how fans can say that this strays too far from the original (to clarify, I've heard this at about a 50% ratio, so it's not true for ALL the people who've played it), but I'd say that, overall, it's a solid remake and worth a play.
I do have one question, however: Is there anything post-game content-wise? Or is this a case of, once you beat the big-bad-guy that that's basically it?
