Ryucross: Do you have access to everywhere on your computor? Then I think it's always best to scan your computor manually, no program is perfect.
There are certain files that are called "hidden files" which are programed to be invisible unless you change your settings to view them (somewhere in the control panel I think). If you can't see hidden files, that might be why you can't see them.
I personally think that internet explorer is fine. I don't see how you guys can have so much trouble with your computors because of it (I think Internet Explorer isn't the reason).
There is also a program that comes standard for all versions of windows (That's what my bro said). To access it you need to be an "admin" on your computor (It's in the user thingy in the control panel.). Then click start, run, and type "msconfig". DON'T DISABLE WINDOWS SERVICES! The results won't be pretty. If a startup/service looks suspicious, uncheck it. When you log in, there will be a series of 3 windows, click ok on the first 2 and then exit without restart.
If somethings different it's because it's based off what I see on my Windows XP.

[Edit by Kienashe on [TIME]1090654585[/TIME]]
