Ok, think its about time.....

As people have said before it has no relation to the PS games. I really don't know much about PSO (hell I didn't pay much attention in Eps. 1 and Haven't beaten Eps. 2 yet) With the weapon names there just used to make people like them, its like in games like RO with the Balmung GM weapon, its a legendary Sword used by the gods in the Comic Verson (Can't remmeber what its called Migema or something?) Its just so people will want to get these items, another thing is Isn't there the Sword Elyseldon in the game? (I think I saw it once can't remember) but in PS4 that swords blade is distoryed. so It couldn't be in PSO, another thing about PSO is that its basicly a game useing PS name, so it would get old gamers who loved the orgional PS, heck Dark Force is spelled as Dark Faltz in this like in PS1 (BTW any idea which way its supost to be?) And the numan in PSO don't really seem like the same ones in PS2/4. PSO is just a diffrent game from the PS series that just uses things from them to make it more popular simple as that... Atleast thats what I think.

The sword you're referring to is known as 'Elysion', and bears no relation whatsoever to the Elsydeon.

Indeed, Andrew, but many do not believe this because it's only hear-say. I PMed you from the temporary MB to ask for a translation of the article you referred. I thought it was in the Famitsu magazine, but now you say Dreamcast one? Hmm, and also in the Artbook? Interesting. Could you post both articles, translated, here? That way there is proof.
I personally don't believe the Elsydeon shattered in PSIV. I mean, did you see cracks or something? It only looked like it was shedding off light to me.
The weapon Heart of Poumn in PSO is closer to what the Elsydeon is.

so it would get old gamers who loved the orgional PS, heck Dark Force is spelled as Dark Faltz in this like in PS1 (BTW any idea which way its supost to be?)

I read that in Japanese it's Dark Furuyusu (don't quote me on the exact spelling, though), so it would be Dark Force.

Other then scanning the actual japanese pages (from either source, I have both), any other way of posting it would only be me typing a translation. How is that any less hear-say than my original post? (Can I be trusted......?)
(Oh, I never bothered to check up on PMs on the temp board..... then again, I wasn't really on it that much anyway. Sorry.)

How about a cross translation?

Well, then type the translation, and if you want/can, post the pics as well. Because as of now, I can only say that I heard what you said. I can't point them to evidence.

What we have here is someone taking one of MIKE RIPP's theories and believing it is cannon. What with the Elsydeon shattering and all.. LOL
Ripplinger's theories are not CANNON people.. Especially to you non english viewers. They are speculation.
And his Great Collapse story is just.. BLEH for what he did to Lashiec and Lutz.. I understand poetic license, But what gives a person the right to completely ruin characters?
