Whoop! I've got my adapter thingy. I've eventually worked out how to use it (and spent ages unscrewing the GBA Player from the bottom of my GC... T_T<p>I haven't played online with it yet, as I'm waiting for a friend to email me about what ship they play on, but as soon as that's all sorted I'll post it here so we can all intermingle. XD<p>

FSOD = Frozen Screen of Death, as far as I know.<p>Hackers can make it happen to you, I don't know how as I would never waste even a millisecond talking to one of those idiots. %)

How would you know if they were FSOD hackers?<p>Doesn't the freeze also affect them?

FSOD doesn't affect your memory card. But you won't have your unequipped items anymore.<p>Rule one for online GameCube PSO: Never, EVER, go to Vega!

Vega is the first ship/server in the list of US ships/servers. Almost everyone, especially the cheaters, go there.

Well, do you have the Dreamcast version? If so, you should definitely get the GC version. I don't know anything about the Xbox version, but I would assume it's the same as the GC version.<p>I got a frozen screen the other night while online. It wasn't due to hackers (unless he was invisible...) but what happened is that my friend stopped moving, and all the enemies swarmed around him. Then everything I typed wouldn't appear on screen. I telepiped back in case loading a new area would help, but after about 5 seconds of being in town the game totally froze and started whining.<p>Then, as Benoit said, all my non-equipped items were gone... <p>That isn't exclusive to the GC version though, it used to happen on the DC and probably does on the Xbox.<br>
