::sigh:: it never ceases..
You can play LOBBY soccer with the Episode 1/2 players. You can also chair race around the lobby.
Episode 3 you can dual battle with up to 4 people.
You can also dual battle with a friend.
How is this so hard to miss?

Ah yes...I forgot about the lobby soccer...I went there and no one ever was there.
Are you saying that Episode 3 people can go to the same lobby as Episode 1&2 people?
That was my idea for the multiplayer...I just figure I'd let someone else explain it.

OK, another basic question. I know this is technically OT, and in my own post as well, but I figure "What the hell!" I ask one simple n00b question, I may as well ask a bunch of them!
In terms of playing PSO 1 and 2 online (I hear that's the point of them, right? ;) ) is it just a case of buying a Gamecube modem thingy and plugging it in (to the broadband enabled phone socket/router) or is there some sort of signing up process?

To play online on a GC, you must get a modem/ broadband adapter.
You also have to get a hunter's license.
To get one, go to options and go to "buy a hunter's license".
I don't play online so that is as far as I get.

Yes..you must sign up for the Hunter License...and you you must be using a valid internet connection to "host" this server connection. If your internet connection is dial-up then you need a Modem adapter...if your connection is Cable then you need a Broadband.
Once you have this you must follow procedure to sign up and go online.

Well in my house we have a high speed connection (about 100Mbit or something...eh, I've only just moved in here, so I don't know all the details) so do I just need an appropriate wire? Or do I need some sort of attachment for my GC? All the other people PCs go through the one router, so whatever I do it has to go into that little black box.

How do you organise the monthly fee? It's to Sega, I presume?

I played the Gamecube online.
The monthly fee is to Sega.
So you would be running a Broadband adapter for the gamecube. You would need the appropriate cable for the Broadband Adapter. Basically, what you do is put the cable in the spot where you would hook your computer up to the internet.

[Edit by Neo48 on [TIME]1113397599[/TIME]]

Yeah Neo, Episode 3 people can talk to episode 1/2 people and run around the room and sit in the chair.
