Reading what DarkMyau said, it's easy to see why Sega just stopped making "real" PS games. The PS games were very flawed. I didn't play PS1 all the way but generally only good things are said about it. We all know how PS2 is/was, but still that game felt like a real RPG. You had to really put in the time. PS3 was well, if taken out of context not a PS game, but I think it fit very well into the PS over-arching story. If they only used battle sprites the game would be more accepted, however the scenario could have used a bit more work.
PS4, now, was the best PS game for a lot of reasons. And also flawed unfortunately. The game was just too easy. You could tell they wanted to fix all their past mistakes: graphics, combat, scenario, they made an amazing game, but....they needed more people to play so they made it easier

I wish they would have added more jobs in that game, and maybe a challenge mode/new game +, luckily no ultimate "weapons" like Final Fantasy. Damn just talking about PS games makes me sad now
