G:1 clear data loading question

Hi, everybody.

First, I recently discovered this site with the English translations of PSG1 and 2, and I would like to give a hearty thanks to the workers involved! This really brings me back to the good old days of my Master System / Genesis, and I always wanted to play these updated versions, but I never spoke enough Japanese. So thank you, thank you, thank you!

Now for my question:

I played G1, saved my clear data, and now I'm starting G2, but I'm not sure it's loading the G1 clear data. I'm playing on PSCX2, I've used the virtual memory card with my G1 clear data, and when I start the game, it asks if I want to load it, etc., and I get to the point where it says "Loading Clear Game Save", and nothing else happens. If I hit the 'O' button, the intro cinematic starts, and the game plays just fine, but there's no confirmation that it ever loaded the G1 data. Is there any way to tell if it loaded or not?

That was written a little incorrectly, as far as I can tell. It should actually be saying something like "Clear Game Save loaded." In essence, that is the confirmation. No need to worry.
