Using MC Freeboot and PS2Loader on Mod MOBO5 1.95 ver. Chipped PS2 Slim. Doesn't work via USB Drive but manage to burn the beta 0.8 version of Phantasy Star Generation 2 and it keeps freezing after a battle completes. Right at the screen with experience written below distributed individually. I've spent countless hours losing over an hour of experience at a time from this crash. Tried putting a PS2 case over the top loading lid just as youtube explained but still doesn't work. Tried burning a DVD copy that didn't work either still freezes. Tried changing the speed of cd player in system settings on PS2 menu. Nothing changed still freezes after battles outside or inside dungeons.
I've seen forums also stating it should work on PS2Loader as well for Phantasy Star Generation 1 and 2 but seems the 8gb thumb drive isn't working for both Phantasy Star Generation 1 and 2 just loads a black screen and holds on that. It's formatted fat32 default settings set when formatting as well. Also tried burning from original ps2 JP import CD and patching the game manually but that's another issue where the patch program and bat file even altered doesn't ever create the patched iso. Even used admin command prompt to apply the patch and DL another newer version of the program. Using USBUTil ver 1.02 English version to put the games on USB stick. Used DVDDecrypter 3.5.4.0 and Image Burn to burn the game with patch or using beta patched 0.08 Phantasy Star Generations.
Hopefully someone can help me with the freezes from after battle crashes for Phantasy Star Generation 2. Also why I can't run the game on PS2Loader from MC Freeboot as well.
