Discuss anything related to the Phantasy Star series

About a year ago or two, the main subject of every Phantasy Star related sites, forums and message boards was PSO. It was pretty desincouraging, because most of the talk was between youngsters that never heard about the classic games. I thought, by that time, that the traditional and inteligent PS phandom would have been ruined.
But now I look at this very forum, and I notice that it has more than the double of the messages that are in the PSO-only forum. This shows that the feeling of the old games is still stronger, and makes me proud of being a PS fan.

...And your point is? To anger the PSO fans who are also Phanatics?
Bleh.

I'm glad people care about the classic Phantasy Star games too. :D

I think his point was that he's glad people are giving the classic Phantasy Star games the recognition, because PSO wouldn't be without Phantasy Star 1,2,3 and 4.
Oh, don't forget Phantasy Star Adventure and Gaiden, even if they weren't translated or recognized.

Perhaps you read into what he said a little too much. He didn't say anything against PSO, just that he was glad that the classics were still strong. And let's face it, a lot of PSO players either hate the classics, don't care about them or haven't even heard of them. And that's not an insult to PSO itself, but moreover the players who don't give the classics their due respect. Don't get me wrong, though, I do like PSO, but I don't like how it's overshadowed the traditional series. I think Sega should make a traditional Phantasy Star game (a sequel to 4, perhaps).

It´s a fact seen on this very message board that I was just pointing out.

pff i dislike pso and i shout it out loud.
seeing how old phantasy star message board has nothing to say about good old classical games and being overtaken by pso disscusions makes me feel empty. it's a fact that previews message board was slowly fading phantasy series what made me come back very seldomly to it. and i'm sure happyer talking about oldies , the root of phantasy star, then of something not even related to series.

You were worried about that particular line? Strange, because that contains no nagative remarks, but purely states that he's glad the classics are still stonger, which sounds to me like he's glad people haven't forgot. I said this before in my other post...
