Why you should vote for Wren:

He's an android in PSIV. This can be a double edged sword (normal healing techniques don't work, and if he dies in battle, a Repair Kit must be used), but is usually more helpful than it is harmful, with Wren gaining HP with each step and reviving after each battle, as well as being able to use his RECOVER skill. His BARRIER skill is incredibly useful during boss battles, his guns are very helpful during non-boss battles in particular, and some of his other skills can be helpful as well. Finally, he has high HP (which regenerates, as I said before), and high defense, making him an ideal choice to be at the front of your party.

Why you should vote for Alys:

Her slicers damage each enemy, and she throws two of them. She has moderately high HP and is very well rounded. Unlike Wren, she learns techniques, including Nafoi and Nazan if you get her leveled high enough. Vortex and Death are both excellent skills. Finally, would you like to be the one to explain to her that you didn't vote for her? I'd be afraid to tell her OR Sari that.

Why I voted for Wren:

His defense, HP, and regen ability put him over the top. Alys is the lowest seed to get through to the second round (possibly because I had Noah seeded too high, or because people disregarded how much of an asset Noah is in boss battles. Noah does more damage than anyone against Lassic and Darkfalz by far. But I digress). She's not too bad, but even while you still have her, she's overshadowed by other characters, and proves to be a very replaceable part of your team. Losing Wren would hurt a hell of a lot more.

Alys is useful as being an attacker that hits every enemy, but that's something Forren can do as well. Both have situational skills, but Wren gains more useful ones in the end, and he can equip a big gun for good damage against single enemies.
