I find if people would read every word written on this message board, many conflicts would not arise.
But then again, Wizard's First Rule makes my point null and void.
A tragedy really

its just as much wild speculation to say that musk cats have good memories, bad memories, collective memories or 20 GB hard disk space, since it doesnt say anything in the game to prove it either way.
anyway i don't get this obsession some people on the board have with only saying things that are written down clearly in the japanese version or the compendium. i speak ENGLISH and i have an IMAGINATION and anyone who doesnt like that can mind their own business.
talking of translations, what the feeve were the musk cats on about when they were talking about the old man's shuttlecock? was it a mistranslation or a censored swear word or am i missing something in the plot?

Lord Khyron successfully proved that Musk Cats have a sort of collective intelligence. And it comes from the English version to boot.

anyway i don't get this obsession some people on the board have with only saying things that are written down clearly in the japanese version or the compendium. i speak ENGLISH and i have an IMAGINATION and anyone who doesnt like that can mind their own business.

Hello, Mike Ripp.

What if the memories of Myau are passed down to his descendants in a fashion similar to the Telepathy Ball that Noah/Lutz/Rune/the other two guys use? Remember, just cause you don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

The use of the pronoun WE implies collective intelligence? So, Lord Khyron has proven that the American people posses a collective intelligence!! (I mean: WE, the people...)
Personally, I don't like the idea of the Musk Cats having a collective intelligence. I prefer a more spiritual take on the matter. Something more shamanistic, like some sort of spiritual bonds... But then, that's a collective consciousness of some sort as well...meh...
And now to something completely different:
Lord Khyron, what are those Wizard's Rules you keep mentioning?

[Edit by Werefox on [TIME]1106053081[/TIME]]

They are a series of rules used in the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. They are words of wisdom and guide the correct use of a Wizard's abilitites. They are as follows:
1) People are stupid. They will believe anything because they want to or are afraid it is true.
2) The greatest harm results from the best of intentions.
3) Passion rules reason
4) There is magic in sincere forgiveness
5) Mind what people say, their deeds betray them.
6) The only sovereign you can allow to rule you is reason. Reason states what is, is and from that principal all knowledge and morals are derived.
7) Life is in the future, not the past
8) Deserve Victory - Know that the victory you seek is moral and just to yourself, that is all that matters.
Laco can elaborate on the power of these rules.
