Which of the 4 Phantasy Stars opening themes, did you like best?

For me. Phantasy Star 3's is just beautiful. It wins it for me.

Phantasy Star Gen 1 is also great. When I finally got it to work, I actually just sat and listened to it for a while.

Phantasy Star 4 was the most well written, but PS2 has this overwhelming sense of nostalgia for me... PS2 every time.

I also think Phantasy Star III OST is mostly awesome (Village theme, outworld, Layan temples, opening, castle themes, outworld theme when hero dead, satallites, all among the best themes I've ever heard in a video game) but :
- too bad the samples are 'scratchy'
- some themes are awful.

I like very much PS2 OST too : the themes are not as memorable as those from PSIII, but they fit very well with the ambiance of the game (very 70-80 Sci-Fi, I call it the 'white Sci-Fi', opposed to the black-cyberpunk Sci-Fi we're accustomed to since the late 80's) and it wasn't easy.

To the contrary, I find PSIV OST totally unmemorable (and I remember none of the themes, excepted the one which was taken from PSI).

I don't like Phantasy Star IV's opening theme all that much, honestly. As for the other three... Argh, I can't choose.
