Disclaimer 1: Last time I had gotten a similar thread deleted after getting fed up with restrictions on freedom of speech. Now that I'm cooled off, I'd like to try this again, this time I'll just ignore anyone who I dislike/feel is too soft to converse with.
This will be shared in sections, as I'd like not to spoil my own plot line, but if I generate enough interest, I may open the entire project up to you guys. Also, for this thread, I'll randomly share some artwork.
Anyway, first I'll start off with Game Elements that I'd like to implement into this fan game, and get your opinions / suggestions on it. Most of this will be simple option tweaks and features for gameplay to help the player remain glued to his seat, wanting more. Here goes:
(Disclaimer: I normally have a hard time seeing, so my notes may be in all caps at times)
*August 25, 2010 *
- FEATURE THAT WARNS PLAYERS THAT THEY ARE ABOUT TO SPEAK TO A NECESSARY NPC THAT WILL CONTINUE THE MAIN STORYLINE. THIS ALLOWS ONE TO CONTINUE EXPLORING TO ONE’S CONTENT UNTIL SATISFIED WITHOUT PROGRESSING THE STORYLINE.
- FEATURE TO SPLIT UP THE PARTY TO INVESTIGATE OTHER PARTS OF TOWN / PERHAPS DUNGEON.
*May 8, 2013*
- Each character has a special “cheap” talent.
• Burst Mode – Double damage, speed, everything, and access to ultra damaging attack
• Twin Spirit – Two characters in one, can switch back and forth between the two.
• Swift feet – Speed increase by 3x / Two turns
• Dark Devour – Regain significant bits of health when attacking
• Deflect – Negate all damage (still susceptible to status effects)
• Helper Satellite – Summon two small Mags to assist in battle.
• Heavy Artillery – Summons SUV weapon.
• Attack All – Attacks hit all opponents always / gets second attack on singular opponent.
• Refresh – Regenerates Skill attacks fully.
• Mental Health – Regenerates all Tp.
• Trap Cards – As the name suggests.
• Inviso – become invisible and unable to be attacked (still susceptible to attack all strikes)
•
- Fast Forward feature
- Every aspect of the game is customizable.
- Upgrade previous weapons in the game to be as powerful as the ultimate weapons in the game for a price at a hidden store in the game.
- Boss characters “learn” as they fight you. They have limits, are aware of them and how long the battle may take and may attempt to conserve resources or go all out depending on circumstances. They learn your limits through battling you, and will attempt other attacks if one fails to work. Will target weak characters, or even bait you into healing them so that they can pull off a devastating party attack and make everyone just as weak or eliminate your healing character in order to have your other characters waste the Tp they need for their best attacks just to recover them. Each (sentient) boss will start off knowing nothing about your characters, and will come at you with general attacks before committing to any sort of strategy.
