Natural Hair Colors for PS Characters: What Would They Be?

I had a random thought the other day about the classic Phantasy Star characters and their hair colors. Imagine for a moment that the rights for a live-action Phantasy Star series have been bought, and we're now in the casting stage. While the rainbow hair colors of Algol are lots of fun and work just fine in the original cartoon style, suffice it to say, those colors just don't translate well to real people. Yes, the colors could stay the same, but I think the producers would be hesitant to give serious (or semi-serious) characters pink, blue, green, etc. hair.

So what naturally-occurring human hair colors would you give the characters? My choices:

Alis- doesn't need to change
Odin- same
Noah- platinum blond, or perhaps white. Something very, very fair

Rolf- black
Nei- auburn, or a very burgundy red
Rudo- doesn't need to change
Amy- same
Hugh- chocolate brown or sable
Anna- doesn't need to change
Kain- sandy blond to light ash brown
Shir- black with teal tips or streaks (she gets license to have funky, rebellious hair)
Neifirst- silver or dark gray

Rhys- dark brown
Lena- doesn't need to change
Maia- I almost want to go with platinum to offer a striking contrast with Lena, but I also can see her with very fine black hair.
Lyle- dark blond
Mieu- doesn't need to change
Wren- same
Nial- doesn't need to change
Ayn- Well, blond or black, depending on Maia
Laya- doesn't need to change
Sari- same
Thea- strawberry blonde
Alair- platinum blonde
Lune- same as Alair
Ryan- doesn't need to change
Crys- same
Adan- same
Gwyn- same
Aron- sandy blond
Kara Warrior- light ash brown
Kara Princess- platinum blonde
Sean- black or dark brown

Chaz- doesn't need to change
Alys- same
Hahn- same
Rune- dark brown
Zio- doesn't need to change
Kyra- black
Rika- a light, orangey red
Wren- doesn't need to change
Demi- well, technically she could get away with her green hair, but just for fun I'll recolor her to a sunny blonde
The aliens can stay the way they are. Maybe Gryz could be a medium brown, like a grizzly bear.

Oooh, fun! I agree with most of those, except a couple:

Kain - I can see him with black hair, don't ask me why.

I'd switch the Karas - I think Warrior Kara should be the platinum blonde, for she is an icy bitch who will CUT YOU with her slicer. Princess Kara seems sweeter and more subdued (and less likely to make with the CUTTING), so I'd give her the more subdued hair color.

I'm torn on Rune - an argument can be made for any color, I guess, but I think blond hair would work.

I like the idea of a darkish red for Nei! (to match her eyes, I guess? )

I initially thought of black for Kain as well. I think in his preliminary character sheet he was originally black-haired (and Argentinian, for whatever reason). I could definitely go either way (either a dirty blond/brunet or jet black).

Ooh, I didn't even take Warrior Kara's iciness into account; you're right. Now I'm picturing her as a Valkyrie or something. Icy, fair-skinned Nordic war/death herald. She's hawt, but she's bad news. It works!

I naturally see blue hair as black, André red/pink as brown. I have difficulties with gerente hair, though
