PSIV - Best place to level up (pre-Elsydeon)

I noticed before that whatever level your "Big 4" are on when you get Elsydeon... the rest of your party members that join you (before going to The Edge) are also on. So I want to get my Big 4 up to like level 55 "before" grabbing Elsydeon, so that they're all of high levels when they join me too.

Normally I'd fight at The Edge (Fire background) for XP end-game, but that's not an option here. Sandworm hunting doesn't seem to be yielding very good results. I almost always end up drawing other things, and wasting time. I'd rather find a place that produces enemies that give solid/consistent XP than to Sandworm hunt.

Where is that place? Vahal Fort? Or is there some other enemy/secret I'm oblivious to for XP in this game (i.e. the Slugmess/spawn tactic in PSII)? Is there anything like that in PSIV?

I like leveling up at the Weapons Center on Dezoris. The Life Deleters give pretty good XP - if you run into a Wiredine and two Arthropods, only kill one Arthropod and the other two things will combine. I think they sometimes show up already assembled in Valhal, if you want to wander around there as well.

I've found Vahal Fort the best place. I just walk around on the 1'st floor. Lots of pre-assembeled Life Deleters, like you said. They often come with BroWrens too, which give good XP. And 4 BroWrens too.
