The fact that people can't understand anything said in the game and then complain because no one has a walkthrough translated into English for it.. And then they expect someone to know what people to talk to to get what to happen..
All they have to do is wait for the English version and they won't have to bitch and complain because they don't know what's going on..
But no.. Common sense like that Eludes some people..
They'd rather be frustrated when doing something than relaxed enough to enjoy it..
Go figure.. They want to be upset and frustrated..
I say let the idiots LIKE that suffer..
P.S. notice the LIKE statement.. Please READ you people who skip and take things the wrong way.

Also, people saying it rocks why they don't have a clue as to what people are saying. The story and dialogue might be fucked up but no one seems to care because they can't read it. %)

Why should a mere language overcome my enjoyment of all things Phantasy Star?
<----- owner of the Japanese Saturn PS Collection :P~

That's different, because it's not new, and the same as the old games, except language. ;)

The dialogue, I'll get to...
-Corey

Sure they can comment on those aspects, but this is an RPG. In RPGs, the story is the most important and crucial element.

are you deaf and blind?
of course people can comment on the import's
-Graphics
-Music
-Gameplay
-Overall Presentation

Saner2, you are missing the point in Benoit's post. Of course, in most game genres, you can rate a game based on its graphics, gameplay and music -- import or not. But remember that we're talking about RPGs here, and the story is the most crucial element in that genre. If you can't understand what is going on when playing the import RPG, you are going to miss out on the full experience.
I'm not saying that I disagree with people buying imported games from other countries, but Benoit has made a good point on the PS remake since the game has a lot of dialogue in it, and that you, the player, is required to talk to the town's inhabitants in order to progress to the next area. Unless you are fluent in Japanese, you'll be stuck on most of the game.

[Edit by ThePeaGuy on [TIME]1093288137[/TIME]]
