YAY! Guess what? It's 12:25 PM (as of writing this) and I haven't slept.
Reason?
PAIN!! PAIN IN ONE MOLAR!!
So, I went to the dentist thinking I had a fractured dental piece, which would be weird because I'm an abnormal mass of calcium, waited around an hour, only to be received by the dentist lady, had my mouth opened like a box, my gums messed around with a pointed object that hurt from my mouth down to my butt (meaning: It hurt like hell because I didn't want anesthesia).
When she finished, she asked me: "Tell me, honey, were you eating chips or something?"
I took some time to remember. I DID eat chips while eating canned tuna (I love canned tuna). "Yes, I did. Why?"
"Honey, you had a frickin' needle made out of a tortilla chip piercing your gum. Like... Really ugly. You're the kind of guy who just munches and runs, am I right?"
The blunt manner of her description of my eating habits felt like a kick to the groin. "Uh... Yeah... I'm usually busy..."
"Nooooo, no, honey..." She cut me short "Don't munch and run. That's about the woooooorst thing you can do. You have to chew your food well. At least 32 times before attempting to swallow. You're a human, not a bull to regurgitate and chew again. Besides, look at this ugly bastard..."
She showed me a disgusting thing that once upon a time was part of a yellow tortilla chip, but had turned brown and that oozed something dark red...
"You had this stuck between two molars and it cut you right there. Gross, isn't it? Don't do the Cookie Monster act. Chew like a human."
Her new description of my eating habits really got to me. From chewing and running to the cookie monster analogy. Sheesh! That woman must know lots more of those.
In any case, when eating, chew your food well... Don't do it like me. It's kept me awake ALL DAMN NIGHT and believe me, I was not enjoying it...
