I finally got my ass out of the slump I was in... Back for some artsy fartsy work... Ep2 is back underway.

Crap, this is what happens when I'm so concentrated on writing... I completely mistook the place to post, hohohoho...

Anyway, I'm playing... Final Fantasy 12 (Peaguy!)... and the guilty pleasure that is Rumble Roses... YES!!! FAKE WRESTLING YAY!!!

I bought and finished Sonic 4 today. It is a pretty fun game. I am pleased with the level designs. The music is great and the gameplay is awesome.

The bosses were pretty simple, even the final one after I figured out you have to hit Eggman one last time.

I do have one gripe with the game and that is the chaos emerald stages. The Sonic Rush stages are definitely superior. I find these new ones to be frustrating, disorienting, and boring. I don't even look forward to trying the next stage because they annoy me so much. But, if I want to wrap the game then I will need the last two...

I was idling around the internet yesterday, when my brother called me. "Hey. Some guy online is selling Bayonetta for the PS3 cheap. He says it's new. Are you interested?"

I thought for a bit. I wasn't that impressed by the demo. Sure, it looked like a fun game, but Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 had blown by underwear off. I confirmed the price, and decided to go for it quickly. After getting the game, I ran it and tried it myself. The long loading problem I had people whine about was there, but I'm patient. Then the game started properly.

I have to say that this IS a good game and deserving of the praise it got. The characters, especially the lead, Bayonetta, are outlandish. However, the best part of the game is that the game doesn't take itself so seriously. There's a subtle humor in how the characters are written that I enjoy greatly. On the gameplay, it's got it. Way too easy for my tastes so far, but I can't really complain. It's nice to play an easier action game like this one, as opposed to what I'm used to.

I recieved Modnation Racers and Heavy Rain for Christmas. You can expect my thoughts on Heavy Rain in a little over a week. I don't plan on playing it for a while.

For now...Modnation. I'm just going to come out and say it: This game is better than Mario Kart Wii. Of course there is a lot of opinion on that so don't argue with that. In fact, I feel the games are quite similar.

-They both have outrageous track designs that range from all sorts of cool settings. Farms, oceans, dirt bike inspired stadiums, and junkyards make up a small portion of what is available.

-Modnation racers pretty much copies Diddy Kong Racing's (N64) weapon system (seriously, is this copyright infringement?) almost perfectly. The biggest difference is that it works better. When compared to Mario Kart Wii the same basic formula applies: use devastating weapons to wreak havoc on whoever is in first place.

-Mario Kart Wii has a very fluid online mode. Modnation Racers is just as good and it also has text/voice chat. No lag is present. Unfortunately, like in Mario Kart Wii you might run into the odd hacker.

-Both games have great gameplay. Tight controls and smooth drift-to-boost systems keep the racing fast paced.

So why do I feel Modnation is the better game? Becuase you can build ANYTHING. Tracks, cars, and racers. Everything you want. You can show it off, and download and recreate other people's stuff. You creations are your own. The customization system is as good, if not better, than games like City of Heroes.

So that is that...I'm going to go play some more now. :)

I just finished Phantasy Star II. The first time in ages.

Now I used to say a lot of bad shit about this game, but after giving it another chance it's not too bad. Grinding can be a bitch though.

Also, you don't need to master Megid as I easily finished off both final bosses using Nafoi and Nagaj evenly with my force's levels in their late twenties.

Anyway, it's now my 3rd favourite of the series. Yay.

Heh, you pretty much summed up my feelings on that game. To date, I think I've only played it all the way through twice. I actually do wander around for hours, though, until Rolf FINALLY learns Megid.

I'm always torn, because while PSII is the much better game on paper, to me, PSIII is more enjoyable to actually play.

Been playing a bit of Assassins creed brotherhood, excellent game with a really unique multiplayer. It's not fighting all the time, its either one team kills and one hides and survives, blending in with crowds and stuff, or wanted where your after someone, and someones after you and so on. of course your names dont show above your head, you could be completley anonymous

I started playing Sun & Punishment yesterday, an old Treasure game for the Nintendo 64 that I bought for the Wii's Virtual Console some days ago.

It's a challenging action shooter of sorts. Your character walks forward automatically, and your job is to point the cursor at the enemies and shoot them while dodging attacks by moving left and right and jumping. Having to do all of this at once gets hectic.

I like it. :D
Get Xenoblade Chronicles!

Does it allow the use of the Wii pointer or is it still analog?

I was going to play Bayonetta... Or maybe Sonic Adventure... But I'm kinda drunk and I tend to throw up when staring at screens with lots of movement in them while in this state... So... no games for me tonight...
