This looks scary for Sony... Hope they learn not to mess with consumers... If I was intheir shoes, I'd restore the Other OS immediately.

Why am I happy? I bought a PS3 for the games AND the Linux... When Sony took it away, they shafted my interest in the console, which is one of the reasons I haven't planned on buying more games. The main being no money. The way things are now, the second I hear about a Pirated Firmware, I'll install it and see what cool homebrew comes out...

No, that doesn't mean I'll pirate games...
