The Earthmen were evil!

Postby BenoitRen » Sat Nov 07, 2009 5:36 pm

One thing that has been debated for years is whether or not the Earthmen were evil. After all, after the defeat of Dark Force, they don't change their ways. They don't seem to wake up from a bad dream and go "oh, what have we done?!".

I've just had an interesting thought on the subject.

The Noah has been in Algol for hundreds of years before PSII, right? Then couldn't the Earthmen who arrived in Algol have had descendants in the meantime? Those descendants might have had descendants of their own.

I think it could be likely that, the Earthmen being under the influence of Dark Force, they would have raised their descendants to be evil. Those descendants would have done the same with their children. If that's the case, it's no wonder that the Earthmen we encounter in PSII don't relent after Dark Force is out of the picture.

It does make logical sense, but you also have to remember, we humans are pathetic creatures when in certain circumstances. In my own opinion, I can clearly see wanting to wipe out the sentient beings of algol so that they could swarm in and make it their own. That is how wars were fueled here on Earth way back when. Some things never change.

another funny note is when on board the Noah, you only see men. No women whatsoever. Let's either hope to God it's not the Navy, or they reproduce asexually. (Sorry, I felt compelled to take a crack at it.)

Earthmen are evil AND gay.

Back in the middle age they would have been burned twice. hehehe

Well, at least we can see that gays aren't only about fashion and girly talk.
When they want something they can be pretty bad ass and plot a world wide treason, an evil plan that extends itself through generations :p

It's not "THE EARTHMEN WERE EVIL!" It's "WE ARE EVIL!!"

Of course, the Earthmen are supposed to be US in the future... Well, yeah, our descendants, but you get the picture.

Regarding they being brainwashed by Dark Force, I think it's a very probable thing. Why?

Humans tend to do the least effort when possible. Wouldn't it have been WAAAAY easier to just drop down on ANY planet and say "Well, guess what? We're screwed and need a place to live in. Oh, and guess what else? If you kick us out, our Mother Brain will kill you all. It's too integrated in your system to be safely removed. Give us some land." But noooooo... They went AAAAALL the trouble of blowing Palma... Seriously! It wasn't even in their best interests! Didn't remains from the planet hit on Motavia? Why would you blow up a planet, endanger the other, less hospitable one and leave the cold, freezig one more or less unscathed? If you ask me, it was DF telling our future babies: "Blow 'em to smithereens... You KNOW YOU WANT IT... YESSSSS..."

'Course, we can't rule out the possibility of them being "In the NAVY", dancing and singing "WMCA" or "It's raining men", maybe even "I will survive" or some other song easily associated with gays.

Fun fact: I like all those songs... And I don't like men, hahahaha! =P

Can you really tell that all whom did you see at Noah were all men?

In this topic we talked a bit about the earthmen.
So...
If given time dark force could corrupt people(/animals) permanently or for a longer time, even if he/she was destroyed? And what comes for generations, I think they had some kind of "cyro chambers" to be able to fall in "cyro sleep" (coma like sleep, maybe even freezed to death like state).
If they reproduced dark force was there all the time, right? At least when they arrived to algo? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Although there's so much evidence that the earthmen were evil that I think it's more plausible theory.
But in the other hand... You never know if they were "Seth -like" corrupted monsters/humans... ;)

I'd say what I always say:

"Until I get visual or tactile confirmation of the individual being a female, I'll always assume it's a man or a TRAP."

TRAP: An individual that appears female, but is nonetheless a man in drag.

I mean... There are three types of humans in Noah:
  • commander
  • troop type 1
  • troop type 2

Now... Tell me why can't the other ~half be women?

Not evil. They went crazy. I think that the stresses alone left them dangerously unhinged, Dark Force probably needed to do very little to get them to do something destructive.
