I JUST figured this out...

The flute in the original Phantasy Star plays the title music. I thought it only played two notes because apparently, every time I have used it, I hit the button to get the heck out of the dungeon as soon as possible and never let it play longer. I have literally been playing this game for 20 years. Twenty. I feel so dumb.

I've read in the past that the Hidapipe in PSII also makes a familiar tune. When I used it, I only heard a couple chimes, but nothing more. Hmm.

I always thought the soothing flute played the Palma theme...
