You get the Laya's pendant when playing the second generation as Nial. So what would happen if you tried to use the palaces to enter a world you aren't supposed to go to in that generation? As in Aquatica, Draconia or Terminus. Would it work? What kind of enemies would you face if it did? What would the townspeople say?

Interesting. Did Lune have any remote control over the portal in the Layan Temples?

no, there were guards blocking places you didnt need to go to.
