I enjoyed it but not without some issues here and there. Like most trekkers I have a couple nitpickings about canon, but they are minor compared to the laws of physics which they break in this movie.

I will say this, go ahead and watch it and enjoy it. I thought the acting was very good. The man plying McCoy was perfect right down to the facial expressions and sarcasm.

Saw it yesterday, and yes, McCoy was perfect.

The film itself was rather good, somehow different to the rest of the series/films but a good reboot.

I am definitely in agreement. Different, but good. Though I was a bit disappointed they used a certain plot device to achieve it... gave the continuity sticklers some seizures for sure!
