Friends that play Phantasy Star....

[Dr_Odin]

Do you have any IRL friends that play(ed) any of the classic phantasy star? did you ever play together? what the story?

Most of my friends when i grew up was into sports games and beat em ups but i did have one friend at school that I meet sometimes during the week and kicked ass with phantasy star 2! those were the times

Yes. how? We had a discussion on video games and such.

I had two friends with whom I played PSII-IV.

I have one friend who has played Phantays Star back in the day, and another friend who tried PSI-III back in the day, but didn't like them.

I first learned about Phantasy Star from my next door neighbors who babysat me.

I gave my Genesis, Master System converter, and my PS cartridges to my best friend so he could play.

When I met my boyfriend's best friend from college, she had recently started dating this guy, and that night, it came out that he had played all the PS games. He got my approval.

for some reason whenever i talk about PS the words "old" and "gay" come out of them, its so annoying

Phnatasy Star was a sensation back then. Even for those who didn´t even know what it was about. Everyone with a Master System played it because it was the first game to be fully translated to portuguese. The Nintendo fans got pissed off because no one would come to see them beat Mario again :^P

But I used to play with two friends of mine, somnetimes switching controls. We had fun with it for a long time, until they got tired of PS.

I just wish they would give it a chance (PSIV anyway)
