Phantasy Star 4

All right! After an all-night gaming binge, I beat Phantasy Star 3. Once again, I didn't conquer it, just beat it once. I'll definitely have to go through later and try the different wives and generations. But for now, I'm happy enough to start Phantasy Star 4.
First off, WOW. It's 5 different kinds of awesome!
I just completed the 1st little quest, and I like the battle set up. I also like the character skills that are non-techniques. The macros are also a nice touch.
I'll post more when I play more, but for now, there are some things I want to say.
First, does Chaz know how to wipe dust off of books ?
Next, "Keeping information from me is the 6th most dangerous thing in this world"..... I love her.

Yeah, even when threatening someone's life, she's sexy... but what are the OTHER most dangerous things? lol

And contrary to popular belief, Chaz has OCD. He starts dusting one book off to see the covers, he'll dust all of them. Thus initiating a long, boring minigame. XD

Glad you like PS4 so far. gets better later on, dozens of references and easter eggs to past PS games, particularly one and two.

I found a couple references already, people talking about "the great collapse" and Mother Brain. I even think there was a reference to 1, the statue in the academy, it said "Lavitz", I was sure if it was refering to the guy who made the space ship in PS1.

I also like the way the characters fly across the screen. It was hard to keep track of at first.

PSIV says "Lubetz", and it's a different translation of "Luveno".

Here is something I REALLY like, although it's kind of a small thing.
I like how your characters reply and interact with the NPC's and various objects.

I just got Rika and started exploring a certain crash. I like Rika! not as much as Nei, but still pretty cool. At least Rika actually uses Claws, and not bars.
I'm going to dump a few hours into the game after dinner, I got a cyborg to rescue!

Oh man, this is your first time playing through Phantasy Star IV? Everything must be so novel. It's one of my all time favorite games. The first part of the game is probably my favorite part, but the rest of the game is really strong since it ties together all four games in a nice little bow. Have fun!

Ohh my goodness! I did NOT expect that to happen! You all know what I mean, so I won't post a spoiler, but man.
I made Zio pay though! I'm on Dezolis(I want to say Desoris) now, playing in the snow. I like Rika a lot, "Weeeeee We're crashing!!"
I think Rune is about 5 different kinds of cool. Is Rune supposed to be the same guy from Phantasy Star 1 and 2 ? The Esper ? Noah/Lutz ?
I also think Raja is pretty cool.
There is one thing I'm wondering. I just entered the town "Tyler", and they talk about how he was some kind of great hero, and that he landed a space ship there before he died. Who was he ? I don't recall any characters before named Tyler.

Yeah, I almost forgot that, too, when I first saw Tyler. It sounded familiar, but I didn't get it until I replayed PS2, and then I was like: "Ohhhh..."
