Max Attack G (aka nostalgia fest!)

Max Attack G has arrived! =D i hope everyone has had a chance to see all of the new stuff by now.

though most of the MAG content is from PSO, there are a few references to the original series -- the Phantasy Star 20th Anniversary artwork is in the lobbies, and if you pick up Rupika in the caves, you get this:







though she messes it up a bit in the mines....

you can also get old sega systems as room decorations in the lottery. i've only gotten the master system so far, though.

anybody get something neat they'd like to share, or have a specific goal they're trying to reach? personally...i'd really like to get that bouquet. XD

Can't say I've really got any specific goals in mind. I just wish that they'd throw in at least a couple more references to ACTUAL Phantasy Star games considering that the entire basis of MAG appears to be "ZOMG PSO (fap fap fap)" and all, and some balance would be nice.

That said, myself and Black Waltz are hella all over this event anyway. During the weekdays, if you're in the US, you'll have to be up rrrrrrly late to see us, but there's a good chance of you running into us on the weekends.

i just found this out. apparently everyone combined needs to attain 100 mill kills. thats a bit step don't ya think? I mean its going to be a few of months till that happens. Even if several people do nothing but max attack g runs for several hours straight, seven days straight.

Heh, a few months? They already achieved 25 million kills in only days.

well....we're not even a week in, and we're at 45 million. by friday we should have 50 million, and that's being a conservative estimate. most likely we'll be at the halfway point by thursday evening.

even if the pace were to slow to half of what it was in the first week -- which to be fair, is likely -- we'd still hit 100 million with a week to spare.

i don't know about hitting 200 million, though, which would unlock every possible reward for MAG.

WTF?!?! damn there must be tons of psu players that I just don't see online. Probably from the japanese servers perhaps?

Um, no, only the kills from the US/EU community are counted...

wha.... well are they counting the xbox servers as well? Since that has a bigger psu community than the pc/ps2 group. in fact I was just on and saw a handful of people only.

You'll have about 50-100 people on other universes playing as well. Not everyone congregates on 2. You'll also have people on when you are not.

Like I said Hubbsy, you have to go looking for people. Lots of them will just solo certain runs.

For everyone 1 person you see in the room for the event, about 6 groups are going. Some spam the mission on stop. I know back when we had 1up.. I spammed those missions constantly. About 20 colony runs in one day.

The 360 is being counted with the PC/PS2 servers.

And this is correct.On most given day most people are on from 7pm-1 or AM central time.
