I'm trying to figure out in which way I like my toast best, and I thought I'd ask you of your opinions as well.
I've always been a "marmalade first, then cheese"-guy [1], because then I find that the marmalade saturates the toast in a very satisfying manner. I've realised of late though, that marmalade on top of the cheese looks quite aesthetically pleasing in an explosion-of-colours kind of way. It also gives the cheese a chance to melt a little.
