Yes, but it wasen't just with games and roms. There would be some strange blue static lines that would apear from time to time on the screen and icons would some times change colour or disapear all together. Also, the same emulators and roms I had on the 95 worked perfectly with my 98 and xp so it not because of the emulator nor roms. I do not jump to conclusions so quickly.

Sounds like a dodgy graphics card. The version of DirectX might have made a difference too (there were no less than 8 versions in Win95's support lifespan!).

Why were you using a Windows emulator anyway? DOS-based emulators also work on Windows 95 and 98, and are faster. Just saying. ;)

The reason why I'm talking about all this is because, obviously, I'm a fan of Windows 95, and something working better on Windows 98, which is essentially Windows 95 with Internet Explorer shoehorned in (which caused a lot of problems), is weird.

Eh, let's leave it at this before I cause another OS flame war.

I can't really remember what the problem was. It was either the grapics card or the monitor. Windows 95 was a great computer for it's time. It would be nice if the same 95 computer could have the xp GB and RAM. That would make thee ultimate computer!

As for the snes emulators, I have two different ones. Zsnesw which I use the most and snes9x which I use for Star Ocean and some other games which don't work so well with zsnesw.

The first console I ever played was a Sega Mega Drive. The first console I ever owned was a Mega Drive II. The original one was my uncles and he sold it along with a massive collection of games. :( The Mega Drive II was originally my brothers, and my parents refused to buy me a console because "girls don't play computer games." So technically the first console that was mine is my gamecube, and even that was second hand.

I don't understand why people were all 'Girls don't play games' I've played them since like 1993(as far back as I can remember) though my brother and mom claim that I played games before I was 4 years old.

The first console I had was an Intellivision. (Well, technically it was my mom's.) Had it for a long time too. I think I was about 12 or 13 when it broke.

I really can't say my first PC was a gaming console, so I say Sega Master System.
