What if The PSIV team never got to meet each other

What would have been their life if they didn't go on their adventure like they did reuniting the finest members all around the world?

I mean obviously they would have been influenced by the current events since DF is to be more and more powerful over the years.

Let's talk for example about Kyra. Actually she might have died if the team didn't go to her rescue. (Or maybe would a troup of esper go and help her)

I believe that whether she met with Rudy or not she would have tried to fight the gumbious tower. After her rescue and the loss of many espers because of the carnivor bushes, the Esper concil (or some deciders) would send an expedition either crossing the mountains or by magic flying or teleporting an elite troup. There, they would have met with DF and die or succed.

Obviously, it would have been the same for Rune/Slay, he was going after Zio in the first place anyway but since he wouldn't have rushed things, he would get his hand over the psychowand before his first fight with Zio.

It would have resulted in a battle of high level magicians at the top of Zio's fortress. He would have met then with Demi immediatly leaving to go to the basements. She is likely to ask him help for the climate. Therefor he'll go to see Wren anyway.
He might have contacted Alys if he were to find the opponent too strong and she wouldn't have died.

Well, what do you think they would have done with the same situation but without the same persons

Well, the real question then might be, would Seth exist, since he was made and used to fool your team in order to put a grip on the aeroprism (or just in order to kill you)

and well, who knows, maybe Rocky would have met with DF after digging a hole for his shortcake and bit it to death.
I personaly think that by sending the Profound Darkness shortcakes, Rocky will definitly kill it by fattening it to death.

Chaz's swing would still be too slow.
Alys would most likely be alive, dragging Chaz around to do Hunter's missions.
Hahn would still be at the academy.
Gryz would be at Tonoe with his little sister Pana. ^_^
Rika would still be in Birth Valley, most likely.
Rune, as you said, would most likely go after Zio, and continue the quest on his own.
Demi...bondage with Zio! =D
Wren, sitting around at Zelan.
Raja would continue telling his jokes.
Kyra would be tree food. =3

For Gryz I think that he would have tried going after Zio, it was only a matter of time before a try to take his vengeance.
Then whether he'd still be alive or not, that fact would depend on Rune capacity to kill Zio before Gryz try.

Gryz would have been killed if it wasn't for the psychowand.

Then, for Rika, I think SEED, seeing he was getting corrupted, would have expelled her for her own good and launch his autodestruction like in the normal story. Then, being a biomonster, she might have been austracized, suffer from the same rejections from people as Nei one thousand year before. She would be likely to stray from a place to another.
Or, being open minded with a bright smile, she could have join and integrate a city or a village and help from time to time with her kowledge, but I think she is more likely to go somewhere on adventure, make a journey on her own or with a friend or two she would have met.

Rune and Gryz would have indeed tryed to go after Zio. I think they would have probably teamed up against him seeing as how Rune knows Dorin and would have met Gryz too. He did see Dorin before attempting to obtain the psychowand so Gryz may have joined him if he knew Rune was going after Zio. Heck they may have even saved Demi. The story would have quite different if Chaz and Alys wouldn't have went to Piata.



Rune, Gryz and Demi versus Zio... A wizard, warrior and android. That sounds like a great idea for a fan game.

Edit: Since Alys and Rune already knew each other, wouldn't Rune ask her to join too, therefore making the game go on it's original plot (with some delay)? Not to mention that Wren might come to Mota to whip Zio if he found out that he had captured Demi. XD

I think Hahn would eventually go off on his own to Birth Valley - probably after hiring a different hunter - and might manage to rescue Kyra.
Wren can't communicate with Demi, so he might go down to Motavia to see what the hell is happening. I think Wren might eventually go off to Kuran to investigate the abnormal signals as well, and end up fighting DF.
Raja has no motive to move from his temple, unless the ice storms destroy it or something.
Kyra would still try to get to the Garuberk, and yeah, be eaten by trees. unless she suddenly has the sense to retreat. they're not THAT hard to retreat from.

Good point, although I think Rune would try and go after Zio by himself or with Gryz and Demi. He's pretty arrogant and doesn't seem like the type of guy to hire hunters. Besides, I think most if not all of them would not want to try and take on Zio.

Hmm, I guess he probably wouldn't ask Alys to come along with him as he would fear for her safety. In the game he did warn them not to try and take on Zio themselves... Yet they still did resulting in Alys's death. Darn Chaz, he should have gotten out of the way.

I can already see the fan game groups:
Rune, Gryz and Demi take on Zio.
Hahn finds professer Holt and Rika.
Wren trys to take on Dark Force in .
Kyra and Raja take on Dark Force in the Garuberk tower.
Alys and Chaz just continue doing hunter guild jobs.

I think Raja might want to check out the Garuberk tower too so that's why I included him with Kyra and the other Espers. Or maybe it would be just Kyra and Raja since the other Espers are busy healing the sick people?

Chaz, Alys, Hahn and Rika may also try to take on Zio but I doubt they would seeing as how powerful he is, but then again they might...

Uhh didn't the story say that the profound darkness would rise and destroy all 3 planets while the great light was on the can? They would all be like normal till the profound darkness's black energy wave killed everyone? Or would zio of done it himself with help? Anyhow they would be in troube if nobody tried to kill zio then go off doing various essential missions. Kyra would of fled and thought she was a failure in my opinion.

I get really annoyed when all over the forums I hear about how ROCKY is some kind of joke.
That Dogs got serious fighting abilities, suggesting he'd fatten up the Profound Darkness is profoundly silly. In reality Rocky would use the hole to find the secret lair of the Profound Darkness, from within there he'd use his tail wag skill and double bite, with each blow the profound darkness unleashed at ROCKY he'd then eat one of his shortcakes in order to restore his HP and MP. Then with the blessing of the great light Rocky would perform his fetch skill and defeat the Profound Darkness.

Once that was done Rocky would ask Demi or Wren to build him a spaceship, they'd fund the money with a bakesale. Once that task was out the way he'd travel to the Alisa III and defeat the 2nd Profound Darkness.
Suddenly Rockys space ship would enter a wormhole sending him to the Phantasy Star universe worlds, where the rest would be history. no not history........... legendary.

I think Chaz also would never had learned to swing his sword faster.
