I can't seem to start it off. All I can see is the training mission, the 'episode 2' missions from the Guardian HQ and the free missions. I can't actually get the plot to happen, ie. no cut scenes happen wherever I go or whatever I do. Do I have to go through all the 'episode 2' missions that I did online over again?

You got it. AoI's story-mode missions are the same as the ones you've been playing online. There's very little in the way of cutscenes besides Laia taking out an onmagoug with a hax grenade launcher. However, now you'll have the first online mission for AoI available, with others eventually following. If you want the full story on 'why' Ethan's wanted, why the people trust him, and why the colony now looks funky online, you have to read the moving comics on thte website.

The expansion pack is still in the works, you could say. Advantages now are new weaponry like grenade launchers, fans, and photon whips, and you now have a random 'counterattack', which pretty much speaks for itself.
