I'm not sure if there's any official info or whatnot, but what do YOU think powers Phantasy Star androids like Fuoren, Wren, Mieu, and Demi?

Fuoren, Wren

The correct spelling is Forren, and the PSIII Wren is Searren.

I've always imagined it as batteries.

No, Rebecca Capowski pretty much confirmed the true spelling.

And I could have sworn that I had edited my post above to also say "As for the question, I don't know.".

I think it's either electricity perpetuated by motion or batteries. I went for electricity perpetuated by motion as I think that in the future, they would have some kind of self-energy rechaging method for androids to regain electricity. That and also because in PSIV, Wren and Demi heal when they walk. That seems as though they're recharging their batteries.

I think its a source that pulls power, in some twisted way, from Dark Force; then converts that into a direct kenetic transition into reflex driven mechanics that feed directly from the AI, thus giving even their motions "personality" =^^=

Then again, it could be batteries... Like the energizer bunny!

I think a machine so complex would require multiple redundant systems; at least a battery back-up. Since there are no obvious solar energy collectors I'd guess the primary power source is an internal pseudo-science reactor fueled by something mundane like water, or people.

The automatic repair that Wren and Demi have is probably performed by nanomachines. I wonder where they get the raw material to repair busted parts and wires...
