An "Android" is a type of robot generally including a personable AI, designed in a Human form; that is to say, two arms, two legs, a head and a torso; typically designed to appear human, though not necessarily. A "Robot", on the other hand, is simply a mechanical device that may have any number of bodily features, and may or may not have an AI capable of producing a personality. So while an "Android" is necessarily a "Robot", a "Robot" is not necessarily an "Android".

Still, your comparison to Data is technically correct. I do not see that there is any particular reason why Meiu can
not be anatomically correct, and knowledgeable of, er, "what to do", though bear in mind that we have no evidence one way or the other, beyond Toyo Ozaki's indication that she is capable of breast feeding.
[Edit by PhanGarrett on [TIME]1082933797[/TIME]]
