this is a question everyone has wondered at one time, can Aeris be revived? I think she can. the clues are<p>1. if you use a gameshark code to make her come back she has dialog at times.<p>2. there is a empty slot when you fight sephiroth 1st form

lol, I think that empty slot is a character you haven't unlocked, if not sorry, also, for the dialouge (however you spell that, you might have been able to save her in the beta ideas, but I maybe they decided to cut that out.

There is a empty slot.. because the girl is dead. And you fight Sephy right after she dies..<p>

you can revive aeris. its a gameshark code. it replaces the person in your 3rd slot with aeris, and you cant remove her. and and and you have to go to a save point or Inn so that the model becomes aeris, otherwise its aeris w/ someone elses' body.<p>theres an extra slot because....there # of characters you have left isnt divisible by 3....you sure you got everyone?<p>Cloud<br>Barret<br>Tifa<p>Cid<br>Vincent<br>Yuffie<p>Cait Sith<br>Red XIII<p>did I miss anyone?<p>if you need all of the characters to finish the game anyways somethings probably wrong. I can finish it without ever switching parties out.

No, there are 3 characters in the boss-fight right after Aeris death IIRC. I remember using Aeris and Red the first time I played the game, and when she died I got Cid in my party instead.
