I tried three times SotH with Yamato in very hard...impossible: it's too slow for the Mericarols and their relatives. I got through that quest only when I changed to the Twin Brand...

I did it with a Yamato, and it's very possible. Even easier.<br>Maybe the different combo that a HUnewearl has makes it impossible, but for me with my HUmar, it was very possible.<p>And remember that you don't see any Mericarol or relatives if you activate the correct terminals.

I dunno if its me, but I find the female combo funny. To me it looks like she uses the weight of the swords to do the damage, not her own strength.<p>This has become a pretty large thread. But its topics change smoothly and there is no arguing to end it. I used to have a HUnwearl (<--i think i spelled it wrong )<p>the musashi was ok but the Yamato seems to attack slower than that even and it was the only ok weapon i could use/ had. i didnt die too much but i still dont think they are very good.

To many people believe that the yamato is the best weapon for hunters, (between caves very hard to caves ultimate). I recommend a good pair of mechguns. These work pretty well against most enemies. <br><p>[size=small][Edit by Neo48 on [TIME]1083245869[/TIME]][/size]

The Yamato is the exact same type of weapon as the Musashi. They attack with equal speed.<p>Mechguns? Mechguns are RANGER weapons. And Hunters lack the right amount of ATA for those.

Yeah, hence, it's hard to hit with them. I really don't like Musashi type weapons...maybe because of the female combo. Anyway, I enjoy a good Partisan, Dagger or Saber type weapon. <br>Right now I'm searching for the elusive...Gae Bolg!

If I ever get Red Partisan and I'm online, I'll give it to you, Neo.<p>Benoit, you're WHITILL, correct? Well, as far as I know...you're the only ID that can get the Guld and Milla handguns, which makes the Guld Milla Mechguns! I want those so badly, only secondary to my desire for the Twin PsychoGuns and the Power Maser (yes, I realise Guld Milla is the ultimate pair of mechguns, but still...).
