Essentially. I'll also be putting you to work figuring out how to improve stories, in case they need it. I give you story, you read it, then you pick it apart and find the flaws. Then back to the writers they go for more work.

Another thing is writing up TV Trope pages for certain submissions. It's a bit devious, but I get hits from TV Tropes by providing links and pages to certain things that don't have them. Provide the service by making it easier for people to find it. Keeps me at 1,000 or so hits a month, so I can't complain, but I can certainly try to boost it.

Last would be social media. That's the second biggest time sink after editing. Can't grow if you don't create the ground for a community. =/

Anywho, yes, I'd test you first.

Well, I'm pretty inexperienced in this department (My writing's still at the stage of making fanfics to dump where only hardcore fans will find them), but I learn pretty quick, so I'll give it a shot. Picking apart stories, that may come halfway easy for me (reference my dissection of Tanith's PS2 novelization on her plug thread), and the rest I don't mind learning about. Sign me up, Cap'n!

So I have now a Padawan and a staff member. Huzzah! PM me your email, so your training can begin.

tilnelson, I haven't forgotten about you. I'll write you up a few pointers so you can use them to on your own writing.

ADDENDUM: My mother may be out to get me. I got hit by a car on 10/25/10. She is giving me a hospital bill that has been sent to me 12/24/10 and 1/25/11....today. Goddammit mom. I don't enjoy arguing with people who hate their jobs and I hate doing that over the phone, and now you give me all this paperwork? >_<

I'm having a good laugh. A few minutes, my dad came knocking on my door.

"Your cat is looking at me!!"

I opened the door and looked at him, then my cat. "It's the small one. She's not going to do anything."

My dad grumbled. "I know the little one is more docile, but she's looking at me like she's stalking a prey. If she does something like jumping onto my lap, I'm going to give her a kick."

"She won't..." was my reply.

I went back to my room and left my dad to continue what he was doing. A few minutes, I heard him get off his chair and go to the living room to turn the TV off. Then he knocked on my door again. "Now I know why your cat was looking at me. She wanted my seat. Now get your damn sack of fleas off and wipe the damn chair!"

And that's how two species battle for their supremacy on... a chair...

Aye, my house cat pulled a similar stunt on me today. I was walking around the house, and I decided to sit down at one of the breakfast stools while I waited for something. My cat, being of the ornery kind, noticed me trying to sit, so he decided to steal the seat from me. Of course, I didn't notice the cat's actions, until I felt clawed feet on my backside, accompanied with a loud "MEOOW!" At least I got the seat in the end....

I've been joining forums ever since I joined the Cave. At the QC forums, there is this one chick who drives me up the wall. She has to get on a freakin' soapbox over EVERYTHING. I absolutely detest her, and I've been particularly scathing in any comments I direct at her. HOBBES WAS RIGHT!

ADDENDUM: I had a good idea when I first began the Royal Twins arc. I have just now realized, after writing this for months and finally getting to the point I was getting to that I forgot to implement part of my cunning scheme. It's relatively easy to address, but damn it, that's just a huge oversight on my part.

I'm so glad I live in a Right to Work state. The mess in Wisconsin is ridiculous.

Also, Charlie Rangle is an idiot. Who keeps electing him?

Carlosojos: That bad? Man, I've met some people like that. I can understand that.

Tanith: Well... If he's an idiot and keeps getting elected, by simple logic, the ones electing him are idiots!

Today, when coming home, I met a guy I hadn't seen in years. The thing is, we talked as if we had seen each other the other day. We insulted each other and talked trash about the other's mother...

As you can imagine, we never had a knack for being friendly. He was the bully and I was the bullied. I honestly hope the kick in the groin I gave him after he punched me in the stomach when we were in our equivalent of Junior High is still present in his mind.

YAY! Guess what? It's 12:25 PM (as of writing this) and I haven't slept.

Reason?

PAIN!! PAIN IN ONE MOLAR!!

So, I went to the dentist thinking I had a fractured dental piece, which would be weird because I'm an abnormal mass of calcium, waited around an hour, only to be received by the dentist lady, had my mouth opened like a box, my gums messed around with a pointed object that hurt from my mouth down to my butt (meaning: It hurt like hell because I didn't want anesthesia).

When she finished, she asked me: "Tell me, honey, were you eating chips or something?"

I took some time to remember. I DID eat chips while eating canned tuna (I love canned tuna). "Yes, I did. Why?"

"Honey, you had a frickin' needle made out of a tortilla chip piercing your gum. Like... Really ugly. You're the kind of guy who just munches and runs, am I right?"

The blunt manner of her description of my eating habits felt like a kick to the groin. "Uh... Yeah... I'm usually busy..."

"Nooooo, no, honey..." She cut me short "Don't munch and run. That's about the woooooorst thing you can do. You have to chew your food well. At least 32 times before attempting to swallow. You're a human, not a bull to regurgitate and chew again. Besides, look at this ugly bastard..."

She showed me a disgusting thing that once upon a time was part of a yellow tortilla chip, but had turned brown and that oozed something dark red...

"You had this stuck between two molars and it cut you right there. Gross, isn't it? Don't do the Cookie Monster act. Chew like a human."

Her new description of my eating habits really got to me. From chewing and running to the cookie monster analogy. Sheesh! That woman must know lots more of those.

In any case, when eating, chew your food well... Don't do it like me. It's kept me awake ALL DAMN NIGHT and believe me, I was not enjoying it...

Tortilla chips are evil like that. One evening, my chest was feeling kind of weird and prickly. After some investigating and digging around, I found the piece of a tortilla chip that I KNEW I had dropped eight hours earlier hiding in my bra.

I ate it anyway.

The worst is when you know you've dropped food down your front and ends up caught by your bra, but you're with a group of people, at a restaurant, etc. and can't retrieve it.

ATTENTION UK MEMBERS!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are people from Leicester like?

(You can tell I'm not a member of many forums to be asking this question here.)

I know how the people from Leicester are like. They have a head, two arms (usually), two legs (usually too) and no tail. =P
