Zoothe, if you bought the Japanese Phantasy Star G1 for collector's value, that's not a problem -- it just shows that you are a true Phanatic.

But the basis of my argument is why you would just buy a game that's in a foreign language just to play it, as well as buy the English version when you could've just waited until the English version came out. If it was me, I would've waited until it was released over here in Europe, so that I won't have to pay extra for the import versions. Now that I know that you collect PS titles for their collective value, I will retract my statement.
I also understand your frustration that some great RPG games from Japan don't arrive into the West because I feel the same way as you do. I was annoyed that the rest of the SFIII scenarios didn't get translated, and that Sega of Japan had no plans of releasing them in continents such as North America and Europe. I bought them anyway 'cause I had so much fun with the English Scenario 1, that I just wanted to play all of them -- even though I couldn't understand Japanese. Guess that contradicts what I just wrote to you previously. >_<;
I want to apologise to you if I offend you somewhat. I didn't mean to get you on the wrong end of the stick as I was only opposing you only because that it was a friendly debate, not to brand you as an idiot.
No hard feelings, eh?
