Like what you want. Moogie's site can't be arsed with the new games.

Hahaha

Actualy, it was meant as sarcasm...

Moogie is the person who's maintaining "some" Shining sites: SF Central.

Ah... Checked the site. It does have a small section for Neo, but not Exa.

Going offtopic, I understand some fans don't like newer incarnations of classic series because of the usually opposing difference to what they played as children. Still, the negative way some of those people look at said newer versions never ceases to make me sigh in boredom.

http://shiningforcecentral.com/game.php?m=0&g=18 Just take a look.

Childhood memories can be precious, but I don't see why a new version that is diametrally opposed to the gameplay we experienced as children can't be a good thing as well. New versions should be judged in their own merits and relative to their era.

Getting back to the topic, I'm starting to want to play Landstalker... But I have to put it off until I have time. It looks like one of those games that will become a habit... And time is something I don't have...

Edit: I kept looking a bit through the site and found there is this Shining Tears game... The artwork is VERY, VERY familiar, but I can't put my finger on it...

Question: How's Shining Force CD? Is it recommendable?

I played SFCD once. But I lost my save. I should try it again. It seemed like a great game.

I got it and it's not bad.

Gameplay and graphics are just like SF2, but the chapter system is back and there are no towns to visit in this one.

Oh man. I just found a way to skip a big part of the whole game (way to enter Greemaze just after you get to Mercartor). But I'm not sure if it will eventually lead into dead end situation.

EDIT: Don't try to skip. You will end up in impossible situation. ;)
