The plight of homosexuals (at least in the US anyway) is rather heartwrenching especially with fucking UTAH somehow having sway over the anti-gay rulings of other states.

That said, I still am afraid to find out that you're a real account, and not just a troll account trying really hard to be creepy and incapable of typing out words half the time.

I don't recall this topic being a discussion on homosexuality. Whoever started it in the first place? Keep to the topic please, or open a Mature Discussion forum like most sites use. If you remember, months ago I said that going off topic was one of my pet peeves ( before I lost my account of course. )

Generally other sexual preferences don't have civil rights issues attached to them. It is pretty cool to be open and proud of it, especially in countries like the US where people might kill you for it, although some areas are obviously easier to be 'out' in than others.

Eh, I highly doubt there's a need for this to be seperate since it really only was about:

1. Lyla's raging against gay pairings and

2. Ace...something being really weird and creepy.

If you don't like angry people, don't read on, because this whole matter is a topic that I get VERY vitriolic about. .

Looks like Prop 8 in California is probably gonna be overturned unless they take it to the federal Supreme Court. Great if it's overturned, as it'll also ban bans on same-sex marriage in other states in the district, not so great if they appeal because of Scalia and "In a 5-4 decision..." nonsense which will lead to probable cause for ALL states to go "see?" and ban same sex marriage.

In other news cops raided a gay bar in Fort Worth a year or so back (raid being a hell of a term for "went to various minority bars and randomly arrested people for being 'publicly intoxicated {which is a whole 'nother huge mess Texas has going for it, being able to arrest people because you THINK they MIGHT be drunk. In private. Possibly even in your home. It's essentially just used to allow them to arrest ANYONE whenever}"). During this they also nearly beat a man to death presumably because they went to a gay bar and a gay guy might have hit on them.

So, now that the city has publicly apologized and fired the offending officers, the city is now pressing charges against the guy they nearly killed, so that's retarded.

Almost as retarded as Edge thinking "we got gay rights yada yada who cares". Well, retarded, or just fucking blind, I dunno.



So, Lyla, are you EVER going to answer on this one? Or am I correct in assuming that your RAGE over people actually posting in your topic is based mostly in some sort of hatred of homosexuals?

It is possible I'm speculating too much, but I think Lyla's rage stems more from posting her pride in her work and actually expecting comments on it, only to see it be deviated into some dumb discussion about homosexuality by a possible troll that honestly, did not belong there. Here is a much better place for such a discussion.

And no offense, but if Edge's reply was misinformed, which thinking about it, it was, I think it is a good idea for you to direct him to the sources that published the information you talked about, rather than calling him retarded.

If we're going to talk about homosexuality, gayness or whatever you may want to call it, let's display a bit of maturity instead of turning this into a stupid flame tirade. I've seen, and to be honest, participated as well in pointless flame wars. Believe me, they do nothing to convince, prove points nor help maintain a community feeling.
