How about a Langrisser anime?

In the style of the anime opening and ending to the Der Langrisser remake for PSOne and PC?<p>http://the.animearchive.org/langllisser/<p>That is some awesome anime motions. That page has the opening and ending to Der Langrisser. It is some beautiful animated stuff.<p>I would love to see a Langrisser series done by Satoshi. What do you think Andrew?<p>P.S. The opening looks like it could fit a anime!

Urushihara's art has always been based off of cell-shaded animation style (his old stuff WAS painted cells) so yeah, it would easily translate to animation well. (look at the art/animation quality of the crappy Plastic Little OVA. That was Urushihara.) Problem with making it an anime would be that most of series (except 1 and 5) had multiple endings with no one ending being the real or "perfect" one. It would be tough to write something suitable for that (some characters only appeared in certain story branches). Also, 2 onwards are epic war tales that would take forever to completely tell the story. Maybe a manga series would do the job better? Urushihara does do a lot of manga.<br> But I guess it's all a moot point as most of what he does now-a-days is all soft core porn...... !@#$ (what a waste of talent.....)

Yes but he's got the best grasp of female anatomy I've ever seen.<p>Especially the upper bodies.

Langrisser 1 aka Warsong has a linear plot.<p>LAngrisser 2 for the genesis, The first Langrisser 2 is linear with one progressing plot, no sidelines.<p>In fact, Since Langrisser 2 came first, It should be used.<p>Der Langrisser would be too complicated. The genesis Langrisser 2 is better in my opinion.<p>Much harder and more character development like Jessica and Rianna/Larna.<p>
