Favorite Types of Mecha from any anime.

Here is my list:<p>1)Fight Tech Armor (MD Geist, MD Geist 2: Death Force)<p>Basically full armored mecha suit with the ability to widthstand bullets and missiles and giving the wearer <br>enough speed to take down a full sized mecha. Most closely related to the power armor Nosjaedul-jer from Macross.<p>2) Veritechs (Robotech)<br>How can you go wrong with Planes to robots and Motorcycles to power armor on suits? And plus.. THE SDF-1!<p>3) Mega-Deus' (Big O)<br>How can you not want a Big-O, Big-Duo or Big-Fau of your own?!

1 - Mobile Suits and Armors: Expecially RX - 93 and Sazabi...and DOM from the first series.<br>2 - Evangelion Units: first Unit 01 and then Unit 00.

Giemelithes (spelling?) from Legend of Escaflowne. After that, I'd say that Gundam Death Scythe: Hell Custom was pretty cool.

I don't know if that counts, but my favourite mechs are from a VG: Virtual On. Aside of being a damn good game, the mech design is really brilliant, there somthing in them that makes them "alive".

I'm partial to the M.A.C. and the Veritech from Robotech myself. Raw power for the one and unmatched versatility for the other.

Are you kidding?? ALL 70's robots are awsome! (corny as hell, but awsome!) That's why, to this day, NO strategy game series comes even close to Super Robot Wars. <p>(Can you resist a game that has Getter Robo, the Mazingers, Dunbine, Gunbuster, Gundam, Macross , Evangelion, Gaogaiger, Daitarn-3, Nadesico and more??? I tell thee nay!)

Havent seen crap for mecha anime believe it or not. but if video game mechs from somewhat anime looking games id say Albedos Simion from Xenosaga.

The Big-O......yeah, a cool mech. But truly the coolest shall always be the Getter transformation combos from the first PS2 game.......like a mateo move from Dragonball Z.....<p>

I wasn't talking about the transformation scene. I was talking about a transformation attack. In Robowars Impact Getter robo splits into its ships re-forms near the enemy in Getter-3, tosses the guy into the air, splits and flies up after him, re-connects as Getter-1, axes them back towards the ground, splits again, flying down to wait as the enemy lands (as Getter-2) then drills that S.O.B. right up the rear. <p>Just cool as hell to watch.

Yes I agree. Sadly though, Super Robot Wars 3 for the SNES was translated by Aeon Genesis and well the mecha is super deformed.<p>No dramatic fight scenes like that, But Getter Robo OWNZ!

hm wel voltron is ok but i also like the "mechs" in Wild Arms 2 that are a high summon though I forgot the name of the rune its from.....anyways I dont know if they are mechs but hey those knights from the game "vangard Bandits" rock
