Backing up.

Does anybody here know how to back up files?

Make a copy of the original file onto your floppy or writable CD incase you lose your original from the hard drive of your computer - that's having a back up file.<p>Edit: Oh, and just a precaution... if you have a virus scanner program, make sure you scan the floppy or CD for viruses BEFORE you make back-ups. <p>[size=small][Edit by ThePeaGuy on [TIME]1091653086[/TIME]][/size]

Don't worry Ein, the kitten has more than enough cute for the both of you.<p>Also, a helpful but obvious tip: If you're going to back up your files, keep the back-ups in an entirely different building; it won't do you good if the house starts on fire and the backup disks are next to your computer...or if someone decides that they're garbage.<p>Usually, back-ups are only neccessary if you have valuable information. What are you backing up, Neo?

Ummm....valuable information....heh heh.<p>Its a file for RO, Though, they just said to back it up. I wouldn't take my long to re download it if I needed to.<p>If the computer goes down with the house in a fire, don't expect to see Neo for a LONG time
