Hi, I heard from several people that I was called an idiot, because I'm working in a mangashop. I'm not just a small idiot behind the counter, but the manager of the shop. Also we sell a lot of hardcore videogames and RPG's.<p>I played videogames for 20 years, I am an expert in technical issues, and only saw the tech specs of both the PSP and the DS. And I know that Sony always lie about them, and use fake tech demo's and pictures for them (remember the fake Final Fantasy 8 Playstation 2 demo?). But I see both specs, and I just said that Sony won the first round, by convincing everyone that the PSP has the better specs. <p>But if you look carefully to the PSP pictures, you will notice they are in an higher resolution than the LCD screen supports. Also I didn't mean the PSP has more RAM than PS2. Also drawbacks, the memory speed is a lot slower than the PS2. And we don't see any secondary specs. (Sony why are you hiding them?)<p>The DS, on the other hand had several quality differences, if you compare Metroid (very nice) with Mario (sub N64 quality), and other games, what can I say?<p>We will have to wait until the TGS, when more games are ready. And I don't like that I'm called an idiot. I like to play games, and I am disgusted at fanboy's.<p>Also, I visit the E3 sometimes, as a press reporter, I didn't have the time this year, but I like to go there as often as I can.<br>Is that enough explaining that I'm no idiot?<p>Also the 8 meg is always used in the Dreamcast not only in VGA mode, and the DC has texturecompressing, increasing the 5,6 megs of memory not used for the videoscreen, to up to 16 megs (depending on the skill of the programmers). Only thing is when the DC switches to 800 x 600 (real VGA mode which only a few games like Sonic Adventure 1, Power Stone 1 and Crazy Taxi 1 supports), it uses a lot more of video memory for just the screen than in the 640 x 480 TV video mode.

I am guilty of calling you an idiot, but to be truely honest I said it out in insane rage. Mostly because I was upset at Benoit and his complete stubborness. And I will also say that I didn't truely mean it, but that doesn't seem to matter now, since you are completely insulted. I'm sorry for deliberatley downing your knowledge of gaming. But, even though I do not attend E3 myself, I will say that I also have a lot of knowledge in gaming and found what most of benoit claiming you said to be very questionable.
