Okay, kiddies, we need to put the facts together. This has turned into name-calling, but I won't get into that shit because Khyron has already dealt with it.<p>1) Noah likes XP, because he finds it resourceful and easy to use<p>2) Benoit like 98 because he finds it resourceful to and easy to use.<p>This would mean what? That both of them like their OS's because it fits their needs? That different people like to manage their resources differently ? Is that difficult to understand?<p>

Maybe its the upgrade from Pentium 1 to Pentium 4. I don't know enough about computers to answer that. it is faster and better than before thats all I know. But this is stupid. You put video games in place of operating systems, and we may as well argue over why some game is better than another. In the end its back and forth opinions. Sheesh.....

My laptop runs on XP and is faster than this PC at everything.<p>Maybe it's the 1.67 ghz processor as opposed to this PC's 266 mhz.. LOL<p>All I know is Windows XP works great on the laptop designed for it. It was CUSTOM BUILT by a tech so it is kinda nice.<p>Only problem is to find updates for it, I can't because the specs on it differ greatly from the original configuration.<p>It's nice though..<p>XP has some good points.<p>And Noah, Khyron is your god Not xp ^_^

Is that difficult to understand?</blockquote><br>What you forget here is that just because it suits them doesn't mean it manages the resources better.<br>Also, Noah is a casual user, who knows how to use Windows and the Internet to an extent, but that's it. I know more than that, I'm what you would call an advanced user.<br>I could make an OS tomorrow, and maybe you would like it because it does what it does, while I could make it that it only uses 32 MB of your RAM instead of your 128 MB. In that case, it would be kind of sucky while there are OSes that came out earlier which could do that.

SO therefore his point is invalidated.<p>It doesn't matter what he uses Benoit, he'll use it. And your words will not stop him.
