You said yourself that you listen to video game music...you could post that there.

Except that I don't listen to it often. And when I do, I'm not browsing a board (at least not the first time). I keep it separated, to keep my attention.

EXCUSE ME? I do NOT hail XP. Where did you come up with THAT?! ALSO, I never said you went hailing your 95. I never said that.

I know you never said that. It's called a comparison.
Yes, you hail XP. At every single moment an OS comes up, you come and say XP is the best etc. It's the impression I get.

He made a post to brag because he got a new computer. HE was happy!
That was his right to brag about it, It is not the right of others to
put him down or insult each other because he chooses something
differently! I mean my god, this is hurting HIS feelings.

Except that we are not talking to Neo. And I'm sure he didn't choose XP. Hell, you CAN'T even choose anything else!

Personal attacks are not appreciated Benoit, or anyone else for that matter.
This is going downhill..

Note that I didn't call him an idiot. And I tried saying that he didn't know computers well as kindly as possible. It's a fact, you know. Tried ?

Stop the arguing Benoit, and others so he can post what his system is.
Because of you, He is afraid to post his specs because of lurking vultures!

Except that I only care about the OS. Other stuff doesn't matter that much.

This should end here! Now after having my computer for some time I have found that XP has been better than my old Win95. Is it better, who knows?

You didn't get the latest version of Win95, which even has limited USB support.

Maybe its the upgrade from Pentium 1 to Pentium 4.

Yup, that's it.

You put video games in place of operating systems, and we may as well argue over why some game is better than another. In the end its back and forth opinions. Sheesh.....

That's not a valid comparison. A valid one would be operating systems and consoles, or their BIOS.

This would mean what? That both of them like their OS's because it fits their needs? That different people like to manage their resources differently ? Is that difficult to understand?

What you forget here is that just because it suits them doesn't mean it manages the resources better.
Also, Noah is a casual user, who knows how to use Windows and the Internet to an extent, but that's it. I know more than that, I'm what you would call an advanced user.
I could make an OS tomorrow, and maybe you would like it because it does what it does, while I could make it that it only uses 32 MB of your RAM instead of your 128 MB. In that case, it would be kind of sucky while there are OSes that came out earlier which could do that.
