PS1 - Fleshed out storyline, greater character development, better translation, PS4-type scenes (all of which may be answered come the release of PSG1, we'll see how Conspiracy does translation wise...)
PS2 - Graphics up to PS4 level (or PSG1), greater character development, side-quests (like the PS4 Hunter's Guild, I mean Rolf *is* a government agent), more story, better translation, greater explanations at least to some degree (why the hell are the weapons named 'Nei'? Is it really the sword that Alis weilded? How *did* Nei seperate from Neifirst? Gimme something here! etc. and so forth), and an epilogue scene of Lutz placing the Nei Sword in the hands of the statue of Alis (where Chaz retrieves) after the credits. Again, waiting for the remake to see what will and what won't be done.
PS3 - More diversity among the generations, a Chrono Trigger type system perhaps. More dialogue, overhaul the battle system, redo techniques to better fit the rest of the series, rescore the battle segments and add a little musical diversity (I didn't mind the score, I just could've used more than a handful of tunes), redraw and animate all enemies, redo Dark Force to better fit his other incarnations, more involving and more diverse endings (not the same blanket scene, and then a few dialogues that are specific to that generation, then credits), better translation, blah blah blah.
PS4 - Um...uh...retranslate it? Maybe a few more Hunter's Guild missions...To me, this was the best PS game, so it's hard for me to think of ways to change it. Pretty much perfect in my opinion.
Basically, redo all games to match the calibur of PS4, which from playing PSG1 is seemingly what the AGES collection is trying to accomplish with these games while not completely disregarding the originals (PS1's 3D dungeons, for instance, are intact while combination spells are added in a sense, scenes not unlike PS4's are added, and the Talk function is present).
I look forward to the other remakes, which I will buy once they hit Japan despite my currently not knowing Japanese. I will also but the English Trilogy, and if it is translated correctly (I will try to remain hopeful and optimistic) I will keep it
