Not really, I'm using the compendium to justify what I READ IN IT. Hell, You probably believe Climatrol was destroyed and there was only 100 earthmen. The PS 2 original script says otherwise, Hell, it even states where DF came from!

The Compendium was made after the games were made. And as we have seen, it does contradict some game script. The Compendium isn't entirely invalid, but game script gets priority.

If the GL couldn't destroy the Profound Darkness, how the hell could a wimpy child and 4 others?

Because it's fiction, and the Great Light created them, to grow stronger and finish what it started. You say yourself that the Great Light must have been weakened after the fight. So, a restored Great Light could kill it, eh? Well, this is where the Protectors come in. Created by the Great Light, they grew stronger and destroyed the Profound Darkness.

And you wonder why I think you're an ass...

You, just like most ccers, can't comprehend more than one definition of a word.

Both of you, honestly, can't you try to debate something or discuss without insulting the opponent if you can't convince him/her?

Says one of the anti-Episode 3 crowd..

PSO: Episode III has nothing to do with this discussion.
ThePeaGuy has been playing Episode III for a week, and he likes it. So your statement is void.

Not really, My belief is confirmed by the compendium.

And disproved by the game. You also said yourself that words can have multiple definitions.

I don't trust the english translation, look at how 2 and 3 were screwed up. I will trust the compendium and what it says. That is to be referenced to understand the series. I follow the compendium, because most of it's other information is factual. It helps to understand much.
If I see the english PS IV translation is perfect, then I will change my opinion. Until then, I will use the compendium.

You can't say that PSIV's translation is imperfect unless someone made a proper mistranslation. We didn't have any right to say that the translation from PSII and PSIII were screwed up until the Japanese version was (partly) retranslated.
Just like you said, most of the Compendium information is factual. So not all of it.

I choose to believe in different meanings of the word destroy and seal.

Which for the word "destroy" is just a double standard and can be seen as pulling a Mike Ripp.

Besides, what I believe doesn't harm you in any way, Yet you still care?

Can't the same be said about you?

Why would I believe SoA's translation, when they screwed up 2 and 3's translation?

Because the year was 1994, when many companies had much better translators for their games. There's also no hint in PSIV that hints at a bad translation.

I love being the target of a inquisition. I love the fact I never called names or accused anyone else of doublt standards, yet it is being done to me.

Actually, you did, to PSP.

I'm not saying anything else on the matter, I refuse to be a victim of a inquisition.

How convenient that you back away when asked to prove a previous point. You might as well not have bothered.
