How does PS2/PSG:2 ends?

Postby xrick » Tue Jul 06, 2010 12:03 am

It seems there's been alot of controversy and discussion about these points:
- Does Eusis & His Party survive the battle on PS2/PSG:2's final destination (is the spaceship called Noah in Japan?)?
- Does PSG:2 add anything new to the game's ending that may elucidate us all (that if anyone here had the guts to play it xD)?

So... What do you say?

Play the game instead of having it spoiled for you. I had it spoiled before I saw it myself, and most of its impact was lost on me.

Come on, I'm the type of person who prefers being spoiled first...

I tried playing both PS2/PSG:2, but couldn't go on because PS2 in too old for me, and PSG:2, being in japanese, didn't give me the same comfort PSG:1 gave me at first play.

So don't worry about writing it up...

But how? How does things go? Could you be a bit more explicit, please?

Also, I read somewhere that they die in Gayla, but are later clones by Tyler instead of being rescued in the nick of time... Is that true?

Man up and just play it.

As for the incident in Gaira, what you said happened in the Japanese version of the game. In the English version they are just saved by Tyler.

Then I guess I gotta check through Youtube...

Sorry, I'm in no mood to play the old game all the way...
No offense, for real.

But man, that thing about Gaira's event in the japanese PS2...
Sorry to say but... Gross... I guess that's how they managed to insert Nei's Revival Event in PSG:2...

What?
Even it's been almost two decades when I first played PS2, I found something new.
Now... Someone tell me what the heck happened at Gaira/Gaila in Japanese version of PS2.
I am NaN!

xrick, I would advice you to play it without being spoiled. Believe me, once when you get into it, you wont mind the less graphics and other things that might put you off.

PS II had one of the best twists in an RPG that I have ever played. Play it for a great couple of hours and it will be like PS IV.

Won't you mind or be pissed off if I just check it through Youtube?

On my PS4 's second gaming I only went as far as getting Pike on my party before turning to Youtube, I'm just checking the games' stories for the sake of my completing those chapter lists I made on the other topic.

I checked it through Youtube, but the ending still seemed too ambiguous to me, no exact conclusion comes to my mind...

I think it is more about the excitement and effort that you put into the game that will make you sympathize with the story and the characters... so knowing the end would kind off be like watching the end of The Sixth Sense: you will still be able to watch it by knowing the twist, but it wont affect you as much.

BUT then again, this is only my point of view. Feel free to youtube it ;)

I'm really sorry but I really can't play it...
I tried again today but couldn't go far, it's too old to me.

The only classics I can still play are majorly Sonic1/2/3&K.

Thats fair buddy. PS II was my first game of the saga that I played through properly. I struggled with the first PS because of the same reasons as you... and this was back THEN, before the 3d era :D But I learned to appreciate imagination over the visual aspects.
