Heh...I'll get around to it sooner or later. Just that I haven't had much time to re-play PSII lately. But another installment of the tale is coming up.

Alright, after a long wait, here it is. The story is somewhat un-linear from here on in, but I've decided to order it the best I can.
After getting the tube Key from the Librarian, Rolf and party head to the bridge South of Biosystems lab. Once they are through they head...
You can find cities in three directions, West, (that's the general direction)North East or due East. I think that it would be better to explain it from the West first, because it makes more sense.
[Edit by LaconianShot on [TIME]1084220583[/TIME]]

[Edit by LaconianShot on [TIME]1084220714[/TIME]]

Sounds good. This would mean that you start in the south, though it may not be of any importance.

It is good that you are researching the roots of the series. Although overlooked by much of the new to PS, PSO crowd, this series beginnings are filled with some of the most engaging stories, settings and characters of Role-play gaming.
My advice to you would be to make use of the turbo frameskip features on whichever emulator you prefer. It helps relieve the monontony that certain conditions (namely level building and random battles) tend to present. If you are patientand have enough free time to attempt wrapping the games within normal speeds, by all means; Do that.
If you can, start from the beginning of the series and consider PSIV as being the icing on the PS birthdaycake.
Neo, are you in Calgary?
[Edit by Cherok on [TIME]1084337756[/TIME]]

[Edit by Cherok on [TIME]1084337806[/TIME]]

Well, if you really are in a hurry, or don't have much free time, or the patience, to do some level building, you could always use savestate hacking, if I remember right there are guides on gamefaqs, but it's really not so difficult to do it yourself. On the other hand I'd advise against this practice, part of the fun is levelling up, it make you know better the game, the monsters, and in general it lets you appreciate the game more. I do it now since I really have no time to do the levelling thinghy anymore, and I've done it in the past, so I htink I'm allowed to skip it :D .
Well, maybe at the very end of the game, where by now you know the game just perfectly, hacking the game may be advisable, for example, in PSII you end up being in the final dungeon at level 30, and you have another 20 level to reach the max, and it takes millions exp points to that goal (really), take in account that the max experience points you can get from a single battle is around 4500 with a party of four, you understand that at this point can be very frustrating to level up.

Well, technically they are the same, but it's not legal.
Since we are part of a Phantasy Star site, it's natural for us to promote sales of the series we love.
By the originals I mean buying the game, which is the cartridge, manual, and box. Possibly some other goodies.

I'm not excactly a "money maker" right now. Plus, my GC is messed up so I may have too make another purchase! I understand why you are against the ROMS and Emulaters Benoit, but money is the source of power in the world, and the more you can have, well you should understand.

Except that PS Cave has numerous ROMS. However, I belive the same thing, basically, as Benoit. It's only right to pay for something that you enjoy.
Do I still continue the story?

I'm not really against ROMs. They're great. But I'm of the opinion that if you like something that you should buy it. :)
And since this is a Phantasy Star site, well... you get the point.
And I'm not a money-maker myself either. I try to manage what I have. :)
