There has been numerous discussions based on the Old Man's true identity, but there is little information to prove that the Old Man really is Myau. Since he holds the Silver Tusk/Fang that has been passed down for numerous generations after PS1, the Old Man is there proved to be a descendant of Myau, not Myau himself.

Regardless of what might be "fact", I like to think that the Old Man is Myau, as it seems more fitting than just a descendant of Myau. I mean there's Lashiec that get reincarnated by the powers of Darkness, so why couldn't the powers of Light keep Myau alive to watch over not only the Musk Cats, but also give aide to the Protectors? Regardless of who the giant musk cat really is, I've always thought it was Myau just because that seemed to be more... fitting.

Not sure on the life span of musk cats, and it looks like there is no kind of machine to have cryogenic hibernation.<br>If you truely beleive that is is Myau then yes.

The Gl could give a care less about Algo. She went away..<p>PD revived Lashiec for revenge.<p>I doubt the GL, who doesn't care for Algo, would even consider giving long life to a cat.<p>Even Chaz gets pissed that the GL ran away.
