Phantasy Star Cave Message Board

I am a happy camper right now. I found Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for dirt cheap at a video rental store.

I was just walking, looking for something interesting to buy, bored out of my head. Then, around the edge of my sight, I saw a familiar logo. It read "Genesis". I inspected the box, and YES, it was the PS3 version. I quickly walked towards the neglected, box and took it, checked it and walked to the counter. The clerk, curiously enough, smiled "Hey, I have this one for the XBox. This is one fine collection. It has the three Golden Axes, Sonic games and even Shinobi 3!" Surprised that a clerk actually knew what he was talking about, I replied "Yeah. I hear there are even the Genesis Phantasy Stars" "Oh! The original is there too. You just gotta beat Robotnik in the first stage of Sonic 2 with two players." I immediately laughed in surprise. "Really? Great! I played that game a lot when I was a kid." When I finally got home, I turned on the PS3 and have played more than 4 hours in a row... Cool...

That's what I call good customer service. :)

Seems like a good collection...nice find!

I finally broke down and got this a while back. It is a lot of fun. I've spent a lot of time playing Streets of Rage and Sonic 2 with my niece. Many late night with a cigar and bottle of pepsi playing the Phantasy Star games.

My mind is even telling me to create a story version of these games. I dunno if i'll ever do it though. I mean, at this point, it's kinda like re-writing the bible, right ?
The Living Phantasy Star. Or maybe Phantasy Star: NIV.

However, yeah, this collection is a lot of fun.
